Boston Bottle Family
The Boston family includes two shapes: Boston round and Boston tall. Both share the signature rounded shoulder and flat base that originated in apothecary packaging. The difference is height. Boston round is the standard proportion, while Boston tall is stretched vertically for a slimmer, more elongated silhouette.
Boston Round vs Boston Tall
Boston round is the workhorse. It is stocked in the widest size range (1 oz to 32 oz) and fits the most product categories. Boston tall has a taller, narrower profile that takes up less shelf width. Choose Boston tall when shelf space is tight or when you want a more upscale, apothecary inspired look. Both shapes use the same neck finishes and accept the same closures.
Sizing and Neck Finishes
Small format (1 oz, 2 oz) uses 20-410. Mid range (4 oz through 16 oz) uses 24-410. Large format (32 oz) uses 28-410. All sizes are available in seven colors with 35% or 50% PCR content.
