§Buying Guide

Choosing a Size

2 oz fits hospital samples, gift sets, and travel. 4 oz is the standard retail size for baby oil. Both sizes come in boston round, bullet, cosmo, cylinder round, and modern round shapes. Baby oil is used in small amounts per application, so even the 2 oz lasts several weeks.

Caps and Closures

Baby oil is thin and flows fast. A disc top cap controls the pour and prevents spills. A flip top works but pours faster, which risks over dispensing. Avoid pumps for baby oil because the formula is too thin for most pump mechanisms to dose accurately. The 2 oz uses a 20-410 neck. The 4 oz uses 24-410.

Shapes and Colors

Clear PET is the standard for baby oil because parents want to see the product. Cosmo and modern round shapes give a premium DTC feel. Seven colors available.
