Properties
PET is lightweight, shatterproof, and provides excellent barrier properties against moisture and oxygen. It is compatible with most liquid personal care formulations including water-based, alcohol-based (up to ~70%), and oil-based products. Clear PET matches glass in optical clarity without the weight or breakage risk.

When PET Is Not the Right Choice
PET is not suited for pure undiluted essential oils at high concentrations, bleach or ammonia based cleaners, or highly alkaline formulas (pH above 12). For these products, HDPE (resin code #2) is the industry standard. Propacks is adding HDPE options.
