Amber PET helps reduce light exposure, protecting light-sensitive formulas like essential oils, tinctures, and vitamins from degradation on shelf. The Foam Bottle is purpose-built for foaming pump closures. Thinner, more flexible walls allow the pump to create the air-to-liquid ratio needed for consistent foam output. Standard rigid bottles will cause weak, inconsistent foam and premature pump failure.

What is a foam bottle?
A foam bottle is designed specifically to work with foaming pump dispensers. It has a wide 42-410 neck finish that accommodates the foaming pump's internal air-mixing chamber and a body shape optimized for the diluted formulas that foaming pumps require. Propacks foam bottles are available in PET and PCR PET from 2 oz to 8 oz.
What formula ratio works in a foam bottle?
Foam bottles paired with foaming pumps work best with a diluted formula, typically one part liquid soap concentrate to three or four parts water. The diluted mixture passes through the pump's mesh screen where it mixes with air to create foam. Standard undiluted soap or body wash will clog the mesh screen. Most brands formulate specifically for foaming dispensers with surfactant blends optimized for the air-to-liquid ratio.
Why choose an amber bottle for my product?
Amber PET blocks UV light in the 300-400nm range, which protects light-sensitive formulas from degradation. This includes essential oils, vitamins, tinctures, CBD products, and natural extracts that lose potency when exposed to light. Amber is the standard packaging color for any product where UV protection extends shelf life. At higher PCR content levels, amber also hides the slight color variation that recycled plastic can introduce.
What are 32 oz bottles used for?
The 32 oz format is used for bulk household cleaners, professional salon products, laundry additives, and refill stations. This size reduces per-ounce cost for both the brand and the consumer, and it supports sustainability positioning through reduced packaging waste per unit of product. Trigger sprayers and pumps are the most common closures for 32 oz bottles.
